QMS Approve ClipFitter for Castration & Tailing !

Page 27 of these standards (pic is link to complete doc) use our favourite four letter word (clip) to confirm that ClipFitter is now clearly a legal system for castrating and tailing older lambs with hugely reduced pain. Since ScotGov approved our system for use in 2022, for exactly those circumstances, the Quality Assurance and other Authorities and educational establishments have been slow to even mention our methods, let alone promote it's very obvious benefits. That time seems to be arriving and 3 years after we were approved SAC/SRUC now actively engage in educating farmers on better methods, and now QMS, 4 years later, could well be quizzing farmers in 2026 about their chosen methods of castration and tail docking.
